A Fallen Hero

Many of you may never have known Gene Franklin but he was a great man and a man of God. As Chaplin of the Sumter Fire Department, he was always there when one of us needed him. I had the privilege of photographing his funeral for the fire department and his family. You will be missed.

Wow! Where does the time go?! I just realized that I haven't posted any blogs since November! Between the busy holiday season, painting the house and the studio, visiting with friends and family, the past couple months just flew by. And now, January of '09 is almost gone! Where does the time go!? Well, new things are happening here at the studio and I'm back in the swing of things.
